About Us

Stacey Earl grew up with a fascination and curiosity for the body that has continued throughout her professional career. Initially, on course to be a physical therapist, she experienced a hip injury that physical therapy could not heal.  She was introduced to MAT® during a biomechanics course and couldn’t believe her eyes.  The specialist found limitations in her range of motion that no physical therapist had ever checked before; after 5 sessions of MAT®, she was pain-free and back to Muay Thai!  She signed up for the MAT® internship in 2005 and has continued to the highest level of   MAT® education, the Rx Total Body Specialist.  Along the way, she co-founded Muscle Activation of San Francisco, a thriving MAT® clinic and gym where she taught MAT® courses and mentored countless specialists and trainers while continuing to treat clients.  The pandemic of 2020 led to the end of MASF, yet it also launched Resilient Body, where Stacey is the sole proprietor.

While Stacey uses MAT® and Dnynamic Neuromuscular Stablization (DNS) for many of her sessions, she also has extensive training in postpartum health and multiple bodywork techniques such as Strain Counterstrain, Muscle Energy Techniques, Triggerpoint, and Myofascial Release.
